A
multiple edition means that a specified number castings are to be cast out of the same unique and specific mold. The castings are nearly identical, but there are very minor differences, making them unique in their own right. Most editions of mine are 25 castings, with three additional Artist Proofs for a total of 28 units. A few editions of mine are 50 castings, with five additional Artist Proofs, for a total of 55 units. Upon completion of the edition, the mold is destroyed and no more castings can be made. Depicted below is a number of works which additional castings can be made.
